Visiting with Liz
I am so sorry that I have been absent the last few weeks. After Christmas I needed a break from work and social media and now I'm struggling to get back in the game. I think the Holidays and busy seasons take so much energy and you don't realize how tired you are until it is all over. How do you handle holiday fatigue?
I planned a very impromptu visit to Baltimore and New Hampshire to visit my Dad and my Cousin Liz! It was fabulous ... and exhausting. Driving all day for 4 days in the week was hard, but I got a chance to clear my head and refocus my thoughts for the future. I have so many new ideas swirling around and I can't wait to share them with you, but right now I wanted to share these adorable pictures of Liz's new baby David Nathaniel.
This trip was the perfect excuse for me to try out my hand at Newborn photography and Portraits. I learned a few lessons right away.
1. Newborns don't sleep constantly and they jerk alot. What I thought would be easy about newborn photography is hard and will need practice.
2. Take more pictures than you think you need because most of them don't turn out great.
3. Editing is EVERYTHING!
4. I'm going to start looking into better camera lenses ... Do you have any suggestions?
